Our pieces are adorned with the artwork hand-carved onto printing boards by artists of the Tavioni family in Rarotonga, Cook Islands.
Each piece is block-printed by hand on natural fibres, creating subtle unique variations in every garment that are a natural part of our craft and make each piece one of a kind and uniquely yours.
This piece features our locally designed TAV print: Kaute.
Kaute is the Māori name for the hibiscus flower, a bloom celebrated throughout the Pacific for its vibrant beauty and natural elegance.
The print features a recurring motif in the shape of the Kaute flower. Our Kaute print honours the flower as a symbol of beauty, adornment, individuality, and the relaxed rhythm of island life; bringing together bold beauty with an effortless Pacific spirit.
